Associate Director of The English Language Institute at Pace University
BioI have worked in international education for nearly thirty years. I moved to Tokyo at the age of 22 to teach English and learn Japanese language. During my years there from 1992 to 1999, I studied the language, earned a master's degree in ESL Curriculum Design, and started a tutoring business. My Korean wife and I moved to Seoul in 1999 where I became the International Teacher Coordinator at Hanyang University in Ansan. When my older daugther was born in 2001, I received an offer to work as a teacher and admissions officer at Keio Academy Japanese High School in Purchase, NY. I worked with Keio for 13 years before Pace University hired me to reinvigorate their then-failing English Language Institute. Two years later the administration honored me with the president’s S.T.A.R award for my performance. This year I launched The American Dreams Agency, an international language and cross-cultural commuinacation education company.Websitewww.americandreamseducation.netEmailjasontannenbaum@gmail.comLinkedInwww.linkedin.com
